New Program Location
AKM programming is now held at Watkins Park Community Center located at 287 17th Avenue North (directly across from MLK High School). Program Hours are from 3pm-5pm Monday-Thursday. To see program activities, click here.
Community Food Advocates Partnership
With this new partnership, the Community Food Advocates alongside AKM will provide a community garden at Watkins Park Community Center. Students will learn to grow healthy food and community residents will have 24 hour access to freshly grown vegetables.
AKM Charter School Development
Recently, AKM is in the beginning stages of drafting ideas for a new boys charter school in the Nashville Community. Already over 20 people have joined us in this effort. If you would like more information, or feel you can add resources in this development, please contact us today!
Vanderbilt Research Team
A group of students from Vanderbilt has decided to dedicate their dissertation research to AKM this programming year. Throughout the program year, they will conduct surveys can communicate results based on the progression of our young men.
